I had a lone term Lifelock Account and Norton360 5 User accounts. I combined the two accounts ending up with Lifeflock Advantage and 10Users. I think there is something to do with the extension of time and moving the renewal date out for this 'new' configuration for Automatic Renewal and getting the new Utility program. When you put in the Key in it does not accept and wants you to buy the product. So far have tried to do 3 of the Windows Laptops.
The Norton Utilities Premium, NUP, needs its own product key, You cannot use the key for your 360 product. Log into your Norton Account at https://my.norton.com Click on the user icon at the top right and click on My Subscriptions. Then find the NUP subscription and you will see the product key listed there. Copy and paste that key into NUP as you run the installation again.
The two old accounts expired March 18 and April 24. The new account was replace them and the remaining days were added on making the next due date in late May. Nothing was due now and the balance is zero. When you open the utilities icon it ask you to put the product key in but it does not except the product key for the new Combined account. The other choice is to press the purchase button and buy it. Somewhere I read that this happens because the automatic renewal switch is not on. I also read that when the renewal date comes up it will automatically renew without yet to be seen
Can you confirm that it is actually asking you to purchase a product? Or is it just asking for your payment information, which is required for the Automatic Renewal of your Norton product?
You can test this by starting the process and seeing if there is a price involved. I recently ran into this scenario, and when I went to the shopping cart it showed a Zero balance due.
Hello. I will ask for this post to be moved to the Norton 360 area as it is in the area for Norton Core router issues. You will get better visibility there for an answer to your problem.
