Contacting Norton

I find it most exasperating that the only apparent way of contacting Norton is via Technical Help, which may not be applicable if you want to make a comment or complain.

In my case I installed Internet Security 2011 from a disc, but although it would download updates, it wouldn't install them. I spent a considerable time trying again and again to no avail. Eventually I had to get Technical Help (504210699) who spent around an hour remotely accessing my pc and who also had no success. Then he realised that the problem was with Norton's server itself and advised me to try later and contact him if I had any further problems. Sure enough, the next day my pc downloaded & installed all the updates normally and I've had a message left on our phone to get back to them if there is still a problem.

I can't fault the Tech Support chap nor the phone message, although it was a little hard to understand. The thing that does disturb me is that no one realised that there was a fault with the server so both I and the Tech chap wasted a lot of time trying to correct my pc when the problem was elsewhere and then it was frustrating that there was no obvious way of contacting Norton to pass on my comments.

Finally, as a newbie to the Forum, is there no way of being able to search for a subject rather than trawling through pages and pages of posts?
