I probably should have mentioned this before, but, whenever I type in www.liveperson.net, it changes to ".com".  I am guessing that they changed from .net to .com...?

Do you mean on just that Web Site or any Web Site?  And Chat Agents like... what?

Now it is Detecting the Cookie as: ..._owner@server.iad.liveperson.net

                                                       ..._owner@server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/78736909

They are a company that provides chat help desk support and chat sales for other companies....  as i said before, you used to be able to see their client list on their site, but apparently they no longer disclose that, most likely at the request of the clients themselves.

I won't name names since I can't confirm them, but think of Cell Phone Companies, Hard Drive manufacturers, and even computer manufacturers....   In short go to a big companies web site, click chat for sales or support, and you might be rezching someone over at liveperson.com/net.... it's called 'out-sourcing'......

For the past three-or-so days, every time I Run either a Quick Scan or a Full System Scan, the Scan Detects the Cookie "@sales.liveperson.net" - and I do not even visit this Web Site; I only knew this existed because of this Cookie.  Today, not only did the Scan Detect this, but the Letters and Numbers "hc/57472748" were dis-played after the "Cookie: ..._owner@sales.liveperson.net"

Also, just about ten minutes ago, the message "Windows - Application Error: Application failed to" and everything - all the Icons - next to the Clock dis-appeared as well as the Task Bar; they re-appered after a few minutes and even Norton dis-played on the Task Bar Closed (dis-appeared).  I did have the LogMeIn+rescue still Opened at the time and Windows did say it was because of this; the Application needs to Close - yet, when I Clicked "okay", it still remained Open.

Anyone got any idea what is going on...?  Should I be concerned because, at-the-minute, I am?  Is this Web Site a Fake...?

not sure what trigger the cookie to be from sales.liveperson.net  but live personson.net and liveperson.com are domains that are typically connected to a number of large companies chat agents.... i.e. other companies contract to liveperson for there websites chat support solution...

I went and looked for there customer list, which I used to be able to find, but they seem to have removed it from their page.....   but if you go to http://www.liveperson.net you can find a link (at the very bottom) to 'View our business Solutions' page at http://solutions.liveperson.com .....   generally i think this company is legit........

have you clicked any chat agents on anyones website lately?
