copying HDD to SSD get cannot copy error

Okay. I'm trying to copy my old HDD to my new SSD

I initialized the SSD.

Info for the SSD is:

Disk 1

basic

online

partition style: master boot record

capacity 122103 MB

unallocated space 0MB

reserved space 0MB

The HDD disk I am copying from
 is:

disk 0

basic

online

partitions style MBR

capacity 114463

unallocated space 0MB

reserved space 0MB

Okay I ran the copy sequence for seven hours then got the error message

cannot copy.. lack of memory ( or something to that effect)

The copy options I checked were:
check source file system for errors
check destination for errors.
resize drive to fill unallocated space.
set drive for booting.
copy MBR.
partition type: primary
drive letter z

While preparing to copy Ghost indicated that the source drive had a primary partition with NTSF and an secondary partition of 10MB unallocated space.

I told it to copy the primary partition to the new disk which showed as having one partition.

So my question is.

Should I uncheck any of the options I selected and try again?

Or should I try copying by using disk recovery by backing up the old disk to my external storage and then 'restoring' it to my new SSD???
