I have "Norton Internet Security" and today while running norton live update it failed to process the "Norton 2009 web protection definitions" and the "Norton 2009 virus definitions"
What should I do to get these critical updates?

The "Web Protection Definitions" Error was Fixed about ten minutes after the first "Failed to Complete", so there should be no reason to Download Definitions from the symantec Web Site; too late now, I know... And the reason they "Failed to Complete" was because they were not Downloading anything, and, therefore, cannot install. I hope all is well now with your Norton Product.
