Detailed description: When starting Windows 10, a large Norton window displays “Your version of Norton 360 is not compatible with Windows 10” and begs me to update. But it provides no information as to the nature of the update. My current version is 25.5.10141.0 (June 3) and it appears that the download it wants to install is 22.24.2.6 of Norton Security. The current version seems to function without issues. Should this update be installed?
Product & version number: Norton 360 Standard
OS details: Windows 10
Marty, what is the version and build of your Windows 10 install? Did you have a version of Norton installed when this notification happened? Version 22.24.2.6 is an older version of Norton before the latest 24.xx and current 25.xx versions. DO NOT install that update.

Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
I’ve had Norton 360 on this PC for years. This just began in the last month or so upon startup. I just read through that huge thread re: V24 and V25, so started thinking maybe Norton wanted me to push back to the version prior to the Avast changeover.
No!! Norton won’t prompt you to revert back from the current version to an older version. Is your Windows 10 version 22H2 and build 19045.5965 ? Is your current version of Norton as shown below?
Clear your system temp files and reboot, recheck for the issue persisting.

Yes, to both questions. Norton version noted in the original post. I clean system temp files regularly but will give it another go.
