Yesterday I got a slug of bad emails, enough for the anti-virus to quarantine an attachment as a trojan and since I don’t know who sent it, it was a good deal. However, back to the email safe, it got through, so if someone had already added to their server the email it got through. and there was a copy to the one address I could add and it got through. Brings me to an observation, you don’t see their email safe being advertised anywhere. I am guessing they know it is flawed and have removed it. I hope as my brain ages I can realize not to open any of this. what I am doing is creating a plethora of rules on my client to delete those things in the first place. Since this email safe and the lack of anyone to contact me about it is bogus to concentrate on the anti-virus and be happy. I do not use their password or VPN or Safe Web. I do have an off site backup -“Backblaze”, password - 1 password and have used Dashlane too. I think these bonus things which people are having trouble with, don’t use them. Stick with the anti-virus
I’m curious…what’s your email provider?
For some IMAP Email Providers, you must set up your email account to work with Norton Safe Email. here
fwiw ~ just checked
https://my.norton.com/extspa/dashboard
I have Apple mail. I have accounts with gmail and icloud. oh and lumencenturylink aka @q.com. I also have outlook but I don’t care for the layout so it sits . and if I could set up an email account to work with Norton Safe Email, I would but that is where the problem. I can’t. As it claims another user set it up.
On another note, what do you know about this, it seems to work with only gmail accounts.
Sorry…now I recall.
We’ll try calling attention: again
Sorry, I’ve not touched Privacy Monitor Assistant.
As you know: it’s best to just run Norton 360.
I finally found the email address to gendigital and asked them for assistance. what I will do is not renew the 360 and go with a simple antivirus with Norton.
Please let us know your progress
