Customer Service seems to be lost without a clue

For about a month I have had a problem adding emails to my Norton Safe Email… I did get one. All the rest claim another user added it. Those are my private accounts from another time. So I have this service and it doesn’t work to let me know that the spam I get might be harmful, like my cousin who wants to show me pictures with a link which I know is not right. So I contacted customer service and they said they would send it to the L2 techies and let me know in 24 hours, then 48 hours, now it seems the second coming of Christ ? How hard is it to say they can’t change things until the subscriptions run out next year . How hard is it to admit, once you have shelled out money for a product on their servers, they can’t access and remove the outdated email addresses or even the whole taco and let me start from scratch. So here I am, at home, waiting on a phone call, when even an email to me to tell me what is going to happen or not going to happen. I should forget the whole thing, cancel renewal and by the way, Avast customer service is equally awful.

The other emails accounts are mine and mine alone. The app would let me get rid by hitting the “x” they don’t show up on the screen to do that.

No they cannot. The account has 5 email possible accounts. I can use 1. that X doesn’t show up on the accounts it claims that another user is monitoring. So I can add 1 account and that x is there for that one, but NONE FOR THE OTHER ACCOUNTS THAT NORTON CAN’T SEEM TO ACCESS AND REMOVE FROM THEIR SERVER THAT HAS THAT SERVICE. Sorry for yelling, but this is getting real frustrating, waiting for their phone call when they could email me with what is going to happen…

this isn’t working… I contacted them again, and gave them my cell phone number to call, that way I won’t be chained to my desk. I looked at everything and i have been in this software arena for a while . I remember using a Decwriter before I got my TRS80 so I am not an old geezer drooling out here. the issue is with the server that contains my information for the Norton Safe Email . to either remove it completely or to just remove 2 email addresses that it is monitoring that do not appear on the screen. Anyway, I do thank you for trying to help me.

I cannot find the Norton Safe Email Section at my.norton where is it?

No response, I gave them my cell number, but on neither number they have not made any attempt. They say that their response agent will call. It is Tuesday, I guess I I don’t hear by Friday, I will discontinue . Terrible customer service, they are either under staffed, under qualified or simply don’t give a rat’s rear once they have the money. I just will go with the anti-virus for mac, and hope that in 2025 they improve things or look for another antivirus company. I used to have Norton a very long time ago and it was a memory hog. Now it works fine, I was able to upgrade my apple service . oh well, I am rambling.

Last night the phone rang, a 1 800 so I jumped and answered it. Nope not Norton, was University of Northern Iowa that on the caller ID, the NO. showed so I guessed it was Norton. It was a political call for an idiot I would not walk across the street to piss on if they were on fire. I guess where I am with this, wait out the subscription until october of next year and find another company

it has been more than that . lookie if you cancel a subscription, you might get money back, but you still get the program being active until the subscription runs out. the money back only works the same day after rejection of all the deals. I tried that with the email issue and yes, I got my money back and it won’t be until October of 2025 before that thing expires.
