Issue abstract: Data Shredder is set to show in Windows context menu but is not showing.
Detailed description: In the past, the Data Shredder had its own icon on the Windows Desktop where you could drag files where they could be shredded. Recently it was changed to have you select the files and shred from inside Norton Utilities but there is s setting to add the Shredder to the Windows context menu, but it does not show in the Windows context menu. I have checked both the right click where go to select Delete, I have also looked when you select More Options at the bottom of the right click menu without it showing. This is a fairly new build of Windows but is also a developer laptop so possible something is blocking it, but I doubt it. Is there a Registry setting I can check to see if it should be showing?
Product & version number: 25.1 build 17585
OS details: Windows 11, Build 27924
What is the error message you are seeing? No error message, just no Data Shredder available in Windows context menu meaning I must open Norton Utilities and navigate to the shredder in order to shred any files, not just shred from the windows context menu or from the old Shredder Trash Can. Why not add Shred Data to the Recycle Bin as well that way making it easier to shred data.
