How to generate a debug log within Norton 360 for android phone

You can gather logs, but they are not user accessible if that is what you are trying to do.

To gather and send Norton 360 Android error logs…

Open the 360 app and tap the three bars at the top left. Tap on Settings > General, and scroll down to the Logging section. Turn on Enable Debug Log. Then continue using your device until your issue happens again. After the issue has happened, go back to the Debug Log settings and then tap on Send Error Report with log files. In your submission please include "forum β€˜your username’ " in the Case ID section of the report. Also include a link to this thread. You can turn off logging when you have sent the logs.

If you do send logs, please let me know and I’ll notify my contacts to look for them.

This is the issue you reply to for me the other day to get a debug log for norton 360 the version of n360 I got did not have a log option in the screen you notedGeneral screen

Where did you get your 360? I remember another user that got it from their cell provider and Norton had to contact that provider to provide access to the Logging feature.

I logged on to my Norton account on my computer and went to the download page there was a QR code there I scanned it with the phone an it gave me 2 apps to download n360 deluxe an Norton secure VPN i selected the n360 an that got me to the Google play store I got the app there

back in may of 2020 amazon.com was offering N360 as an amazon special – for the most part amazon does the billing β€” I get a β€œpin” and it works fine on my amazon account β€” I been renewing it every may since 2020

hello β€” as it turns out you were right about the license ---- I had to buy a new Norton license and dropped the one I got from amazon and now the VPN worked within N360 β€” thanks for the help

If you still have time remaining on the Amazon subscription, you may be able to get it added to your current Norton subscription. Contact Norton Support and ask them if this is possible.

Also, be sure you check your Amazon Account to ensure that you are not going to be automatically renewed.

Hello β€” Thanks for the reply β€” as it turns out I had to cancel the amazon license. We added a mac and iPhone to the license and when those seats were retired, I could not delete them from my account. Support could not delete it too – they told me to call amazon, so I did. Amazon had no clue what I was talking about, so they canceled the license and I got a full refund from my renewal in May 2024. At that point all devices on that license started to get pop-ups that the coverage ended

So, I bought a new Norton 360 license – 10 seats. Amazon was running a deal for the first year, but then Norton will bill after that – you now have to have a billing method on your Norton account. It installed fine on windows, but the new UI seems to want to sell me all these add-ons and it seems to be looking for more problems to fix –

Now on the phone – so on my pixel I had to uninstall N360 on the phone. I used the QR code on the computer screen and installed it from the google play store β€” the same one I used in the past but now I used the key from the new license – and now VPN option in N360 works fine. I even get an alert when I am in the gym were the public wyfi is active
