Norton software refuses to obey my user settings. I do not want Idle Time Quick Scans or Insight Scans to proceed automatically. My configuration is as follows: SETTINGS-COMPUTER-UPDATES-AUTO LIVE UPDATES / PULSE UPDATES-off; SMART DEFINITIONS-off. SETTINGS-GENERAL-NORTON TASKS-IDLE TIME OPTIMIZER-off; OTHER SETTINGS-INSIGHT PROTECTION-off; NORTON COMMUNITY WATCH-off. Yet, after a manual live update session, the software proceeds with a IDLE TIME QUICK SCAN (on many occassions), and a IDLE TIME INSIGHT SCAN (every time). What is my configuration error that cause this noxious behavior? Please advise.
