Definitions updates? Please help!

I was updating my Norton AntiVirus 2009, when two out of the three updates won't install.
My updater found the updates, and downloaded the updates, but won't complete the 'install'.
It has not been a full twenty four hours yet since the problem started, but it is quite disturbing that I've never had this issue before. Anything I should be worried about? Hopefully this problem will be fixed soon.

Please try rebooting your computer and then try using live update again and see if they get installed this time. I just got my antivirus definitions and a white list installed. Please let us know if you are still having a problem with it. If you are, we can tell you how to use the intelligent updater to get the antivirus definitions. Thanks.

It attempts to install two updates, and both fail. Both say;
Norton 2009 IPS Definitions.
Updates Intrusion Detection engine. This patch does not require a reboot.
Status: Failed to complete.
Update Criticality: Critical.

Both updates say the same thing, and I have restarted my system and it is still doing the same thing.

Let us know the error message you are receiving after clicking the failed update.

All I can see is what I posted above, and that's after clicking the 'view summary' option. Unless I should be doing something different to see the 'error message.'

Click Help and Support

Click One click support

 

Check for any error messages

Yeah, I figured that out after playing around with it for a few moments.
8920,208 is the code for both.

This error can appear due to a temporary problem with the LiveUpdate servers. You can be assured that this problem will be fixed quickly. Please wait for 24 hours and then run LiveUpdate again.

In the meantime, make sure that your Definition Updates are up-to-date.

You can get the antivirus updates from this page using the intelligent updater on a daily basis. Please pick the correct Norton product and the correct year.
