Norton, since 2014 through to 2018 has created backup that have taken 809gb of my disk space. I tried to delete the folder many different ways, directly, using TreeService, and I constantly get stopped due to not having the proper administrative privilege. I have tried many of time to update the administrative privilege but I get an error saying it can't be applied. Please, please help me.
Are you logged in using a Windows Admin account?
Where are these files located? On an external drive?
You can try removing the files/folders using Windows Explorer. Using a Windows Admin account, open Windows Explorer and click on This PC in the left pane, ten double click on Norton Backup Drive in the right pane. Then find the backup sets that are stored on your drive and double click on the set you wish to remove. Then you can select the files you wish to remove and right click and then click on Delete. You need to be patient when you click each step here, as the information can take a little time to display.
