Last night I ran my weekly scheduled 'Full System Scan'. Usually after a few minutes of display inactivity my Windows 10 slideshow program kicks in. Last night I got a message on my display that 'an error had prevented the slideshow from starting'. I've never had this message before. This morning my desktop shortcut icons were functioning improperly. You double click on an icon and the link activates for about 5 seconds and then shuts down. I have even tried running the icon as the 'administrator' and no luck. However going to the Internet Explorer and clicking the stored Favorites link works fine. I don't know if this is a Norton's issue or maybe it's a Windows 10 issue it's just a coincidence that it occurred during and after a Full System Scan.
