directory specified must have read\write permissions

I have partitioned my hard drive into several drives, drive Z is my data/backup drive. Created the directory Z:\Autosave

I have followed several tutorials how to allow read\write permission to a directory, none of them have worked.

  1. Right click on directory > Properties > uncheck read only, apply and ok.

  2. Powershell Admin attrib -r +s "Z:"

  3. regedit change

  4. Norton > Settings > Antivirus > Scans and Risk > exclusions / Low Risks
Items to exclude from scans > Z:
    Items to exclude from Auto-protect > Z:\

I am able to create and save a text file there but I am not able to get Autocad to autosave backup copies of a file.

Inside Autocad I also marked the directory as trusted.

What am I missing?
