"Disable Antivirus Auto-Protect" Is Grayed

NIS 2012 on Windows 7 x64.

In my Administrator account, when I right-click on the system tray icon, I sometimes see that both "Disable Smart Firewall" and "Disable Antivirus Auto-Protect" are grayed. Why?

This is a known issue with NIS 2012; please see the following thread for more information:

Are you still seeing this issue with version 19.2.0.10 of NIS 2012 (Main UI > Help > About)? If so, then the quickest way to resolve the problem is log off and log back on to your Windows User Account.

Thanks very much for the link. In the accepted solution, a Symantec employee asks users to notify Symantec when this happens, so I'll open an online support session the next time I notice this.

In response to your question, I am still seeing this occasionally with version 19.2.0.10. I have also noticed that logging out and logging back on makes it go away.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with NIS 2012, but this is the second 'known issue' I am experiencing with this software.
