I am running Norton 360 for Mac. I have a Synology NAS and access two shared folders on the NAS via SMB. Whenever I enable Network Monitor it knocks off my SMB connection to the NAS. I can still access NAS via web browser. I've tried EVERY setting in the Norton's Firewall settings I could think of and no success. The only thing that seems to work is deactivating Network Monitor in system preferences (Network). Of course this means I get a constant pop to "fix" Norton.
Anyone else on Mac running Norton 360 using Synology NAS? If so, do you have this problem and better yet, HOW did you fix it? I was online with Norton tech support for over an hour. Nothing the tech person suggested worked.
