I’ve been trying to disable the cloud backup function.
I’ve tried the hints on here, but none of them work. When I try to cancel in the Norton app, it wheels forever and does nothing, and it won’t let me open the manage function. I tried the ‘uninstall’ thing, but the cloud backup doesn’t come up as a separate program in my program list. Nowhere can I find a way to just turn the damn thing off! I don’t want it, I didn’t ask for it, and it’s using up the small amount of GBs I have access to in a hurry!

Thanks for your help. I have managed to turn off the automatic sync.
Personally I find the new dashboard a nightmare to work with. Norton can bring back the old one any time they like! It was much easier to manage backups before the changes. Now it won’t store my backup settings properly - if I want to backup to an external drive, I have to go through creating a backup set each time. Very painful.
