I use the location on many web sites for products/and voting on issues. How do I turn this feature off in Wifi Privacy...
This type of VPN routes your connection to a new location. (getting you out of the potentially non-secure network you are in now).
You are saying "I want to be somewhere else, but I also want to stay exactly where I am now".
Theoretically you could make VPN tunnel (non-Norton) to your home and it would appear that you are there, which may be closer than the nearest data center that Norton is using to host a VPN outlet, but that would be non-trivial to set up.
Not sure exactly what you are looking to do. What I suggested above will stop the VPN feature and disable the virtual location. You will again appear to be where you actually are located. The application is still running in the background when you need to activate it again.
I want to keep the VPN active. I do not want the virtual location... I want the location to be accurate.

If you are asking how to turn off the VPN feature, there is a button at the bottom right of the Norton Wifi Privacy, NWP, window. Click that and the VPN is no longer active.
