Unfortunately new version with my computer unfortunately updated and shows that Your computer is no longer protected as safe web and remote access protestion is no longer enabled and… You cannot re-enable it.
As talked with the support they know about the issue - You can try to re-install or wait for a fix.
Yes, I ran the update and restarted the machine, version is 25.1.9816.906. I’m on a trip and do not have time or possibilities to download and experiment with re-installing the software to see if it works. If automatic update broken it I expect another update will fix it. Or the product is useless.
Already contacted the support and they confirmed they are aware of the problem and trying to fix it.
This at first looks as a serious intrusion in the system to disable the options to further infect the system.
