I'm using a MacBook with version 10.6.5 software. When I would start up my Mac, I'd get a message displayed on my screen that "Norton Utilities detected new software and I should contact my administrator".
Previously I only had Antivirus software and the Norton Utilities software which apparently was not compatible with my present Mac (new MacBook). About a week ago I purchased Norton Internet Security 4 for Mac and installed it but I continue to get this message. I thought the new Norton's would solve the problem, but it didn't.
Is there anything I can do to reset (or clear) this message because with the new software installed, I don't think I should be getting this message?
