Do I have to sign up for automatic renewal

I dont like the idea of being signed up for automatic renewal as I prefer to decide which product and how many devices I want to cover for the coming year.

I have bought a new copy of Norton 360 x 10 from my local computer store and have the license key, but when I try to log on to activate it, I seem to be forced to agree to an automatic renewal contract. This is bad marketing and is likely to drive me away from Norton.

I did try going direct to the loader and it seemed to load and told me so, but when i opem the Norton Security panel it has not updated my subscription status. Its always worked for the last 10 years, whats going on?

Unfortunately Norton has decided that everyone wants Automatic Renewal and has made this a mandatory part of the activation process.

If you have purchased the same product as your current subscription, you could always contact Norton Support and ask them to add the time from your new product key to your current subscription. That way you bypass the automatic process of adding auto renewal, and you do not lose any time from your old subscription.

Once you have activated your new product, you are free to turn off the auto renewal and remove your payment information from your Norton Account.
