I have been advised by 2 different sources that Norton Antivirus slows down my Mac operation and that I don't need antivirus software for a Mac anyway. I don't think my Mac seems any faster or slower when I turn NAV on or off and running a Mac without antivirus software would seem like driving without a seatbelt. I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.
