Just in case others have the same question, the answer is NO. Norton does not make unsolicited phone calls to its customers.

This was not a sales call, but I guess it wasn’t legit.I have looked for Norton’s support line which shows as 844-488-4540, but some sites on the web say it is a scam number. (Maybe posted by an unhappy customer?) I would like to get a a safe phone number to call Support as well as the “no reply” email address when Norton emails you about possible alerts. With the new Norton format I can’t find how to chat with Norton
Support.
Thanks for the reply

If you were looking for the phone number with a Google search, the first results are never genuine Norton Support. They are sponsored search results from companies that offer support for multiple products for a fee. There is no charge for genuine Norton Support.

I was just in my Norton account and they list an option to call you by phone. I edited that option out and will rely on emails, and/or, texts. I am trying to get the exact secure email address that Norton uses to contact their customers.
I am also trying how to add additional Norton programs to my account. (Maybe that should be a separate post.)

Great list. I have been on that Norton site before, but I guess I never looked down the site that far. I will keep a Word file on my desktop for a quick reference when I receive Norton emails.
