Does Norton provide encryption for emails?

yea - that's the question.. do they?  How are they related to Symantec?  I know they do... but wanted to compare prices.

No.

Norton does not 'manipulate' emails in any way. The Norton programs only scan for malware if you have a POP3 email.

Yes, Norton does not provide a program per say but a digital certificate you can use to encrypt your email.

You just need a s/mime client such as Outlook or Thunderbird.

This allows you to digitally sign your emails and encrypt.

In order to encrypt you and the the recipient need certificates.
