hello forum users. I purchased Norton Security yesterday as a Christmas present for myself - and for my daughters new laptop!
having used computers for a number of years, like many, I have avoided paying for a anti-virus checker but took the plunge really to provide my daughter with hassle free internet use.
i was amazed to discover that immediately the laptop was infected with adware that Norton couldn't seem to detect or remove? have I done something wrong. I couldn't get rid of Adware.Yontoo.Hotsales Plugin exe. I carried out a Google search and it seems the Reason Core Security could remove it. which is seems to have done, but there is another fee payable for this software. What's the point in Norton if it can't remove the Adware? tell me what I am doing wrong please??? thanks for your help.
