Domain is being flagged in Norton Safe Web extension even after getting Safe rating

Issue abstract:
Norton Safe Web portal shows my domain appon.tech as Safe, but the Norton browser extension still blocks my landing page as a “Dangerous Web Page,” even though it is only a marketing site and not part of my in‑app webview.

Detailed description:
I own and manage the domain appon.tech for my application’s landing website. Earlier, a separate in‑app webview used URLs like appon.tech/spaces?token= for already‑authenticated users. One Norton user reported that this webview was blocked as dangerous. To investigate, I scanned appon.tech on Norton Safe Web; it was initially flagged as “Suspicious.” I verified domain ownership by uploading the verification file to my server and submitted a dispute explaining that the classification was a false positive. Norton reviewed it and changed the site rating to “Safe.” Since then, multiple scans on Safe Web consistently show appon.tech as Safe. However, when visiting the landing page appon.tech/ in a browser with the Norton Safe Web extension enabled, I still get the full‑screen “Dangerous Web Page Blocked” warning. This landing page is a simple public marketing site and does not contain the previous JWT webview or any authentication tokens. I have already submitted a second dispute, but the rating remains Safe and the extension continues to block the site. I am looking for help to clear any stale reputation or cached data so that Norton products stop flagging the landing page.

  • Screenshot 1: Norton Safe Web “Site Details” page for appon.tech showing rating as “Safe” and ownership verified.

Request:
Please help verify and clear any incorrect reputation or cache so that the Norton Safe Web extension and other Norton products treat appon.tech as Safe, consistent with the Safe Web portal rating.

Please contact Norton support and advise support that you’ve submitted dispute and waited 48 business hours.
