My laptop had to be restored and I lost everything. I had used the cloud backup in my Norton subscription, but when I set it up again on my laptop there's no backup there. In my online Norton account my cloud backup shows up there, but it looks like I would have to download every single file individually which would take forever. Is there no way of downloading the whole backup in one go?

Please post progress.
At Last! I was successful in restoring my files. Your detailed directions were very helpful.
Something clicked in my brain and I understood the instructions from the website. Again, your detailed directions set off a spark of understanding.
Thank you very Much.

Going from the Norton 360 screen. the only option to get to the backup is the 'Cloud Backup'. Click on that and it wants a backup immediately.

I can see the backup sets. In the restore I get from there, it appears to want me to select each file individually. Even if selecting a file type, it still wants a file selected. Is this what is expected?

When you try to start the backup restore, you should see this. In Restore From, click on View All. That should find all backup sets in your Norton Account.
Then choose the backup set you wish to restore from the Secure Cloud Storage and click on OK.
Then in the Files section check the option to Restore All Files and Categories. You can choose to Restore To the original location or you can choose a temporary location by clicking on Change. Then you could move the files where you need them.

So, you do not find your backup sets here >

Useless!!
The support article assumes you can see the sets
I need to restore some files AFTER a crash. Cannot find the backup sets as described here.
Remember: This is a file RESTORE system, not just a BACKUP system.
After installing 360 and setting up the Backup feature again, do not run a backup just yet. Use the information in this Norton Support article to restore your files.
