For some unknown reason I just purchased/downloaded Norton Driver Updater as it's been telling me for a while that I have 18 drivers out of date. So I did the scan and I hit the Resolve button and it did all its updating then needed a restart to finish installation. I did a restart and now my computer does nothing except turn on & off to a black screen with a lit keyboard. I'm using an HP Spectre 360 Convertible 15-bl0XX with Windows 11 Professional. Norton is telling me they will get back to me within 72 hours. Any suggestions as I actually need this laptop to work and I don't think Norton is willing to pay me for the downtime and stress their product is causing me?
Hello David. I would first attempt to perform the following to see what results you can garner and what the computer will/won't respond to. The OS doesn't matter, its access to the advanced settings that you want to obtain.

IF you can get into the settings, use System Restore and follow on screen prompts.

* Note of warning: If you get this device restored DO NOT use driver updater for any reason, this issue will occur again if you do so. Other users across the forums have seen this issue using DU as well.

We'll try to call attention: No promises. No timeline.

Were my machine. I don't know whether I'd try another machine Restart (not Shut down).
Or, try restoring recent system image backup.
Wonder whether Norton Driver Updater unique driver revert feature...runs in Safe Mode?
