Early launch anti-malware feature- Not able to be activated

The latest release appears to be a lot more stable for windows 8. but its early days the previous update look good as well. This feature Early launch anti malware is not able to be activated, it takes you to help feature which reads OK but the actual activation doesn’t work.

Is this a Windows feature you are talking about?

 

Just be sure you have Boot Time Protection set to aggressive, and Norton will protect you as soon as you turn on your system. Click Settings - Computer- Real Time Protection and set Enable Boot Time Protection to Aggressive. Click Apply.

It in NIS Settings> Real Time Protection>Enable Launch Anti-Malware, but miracles of Miracles it is now working…I am now watching to see why I could not select Settings from main screen of NIS. Hmmmmm something familiar with this not being able to select>open settings

Try clicking on Support - Get Support to run  Autofix to check your installation and fix what it finds.

 

Even though you have updated, be sure you have run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.
