You would have to check your Outlook settings to see which Outgoing email server you are using. If using the Exchange server settings and that is not set up as IMAP, that could explain the lack of sync.
One more input item. All 3 of these computers & outlook have a 2nd email setup - all of which are using Microsoft Exchange. Any input as to whether this is creating the non-sync for sent emails?
Sync is 3 desktop towers. IMAP setup on all. Should be synced according to MS. Not sure where to go or who to even contact at this point.
I use IMAP on Gmail with Thunderbird email client and just checked my Sent items on my laptop and the sent items are sync'd with my iPhone. Do you see this same behaviour with emails sent from all your devices?
Did MS give any clue as to what kind of setting they thought Norton has that might affect this? I cannot thing of anything that would affect sent items. Maybe others here have some ideas.
Thank you. Already on IMAP. Microsoft suggested changing norton setting but cant find what/where it is.
This has nothing to do with your Norton product. If you are not already using IMAP, you need to change your email account to that protocol. That will keep all emails on the server and all devices connected to that email account will see the same thing in real time.
Here is a Microsoft article that helps explain the different email protocols. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/what-are-imap-and-pop-ca2c5799-49f9-4079-aefe-ddca85d5b1c9
