Encrypted file sharing

Hi there,

I'm looking for a way to send documents via email but have them encrypted so that only the person with the relevant password can decrypt them. Does Norton offer something like Dropbox or Google Drive where I could send the person a link, but with encryption? Alternatively, is there another way I could accomplish this, independent of my email client? At the moment, I have settled on Signal, but it's not really ideal for email and it relies on the other person having Signal. Recent experiences with being a victim of phishing attacks and in the past malware have made me very vigilant. I would really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi there,

I believe I have resolved my own query. Firefox Send has recently been released (March 2019) which I believe would do what I'm after (see https://send.firefox.com/). Send is a free encrypted file transfer service that allows users to safely and simply share files from any browser. It works for most, if not all, of my purposes (e.g. sending files under 1GB and files under 2.5GB). Also, it doesn't rely on a specific email client. Hope this is useful to someone else.
