We are ending our subscription with Norton after many years, when the product failed consistently to get rid of viruses, Trojan and much malware that other programmes did. We also got tired of the lousy on line unprofessional attitudes of the Norton employees on the "community" boards. Problems that were Serious to Subscribers were not taken seriously by the staff. Along with very inappropriate comments which I read. The constant paying out for tech support is yet another reason. We decided after researching the Anti Virus Programmes out there to go with VIPRE they are rated NO 1 and have Free yes FREE tech support Telephone too!, and all their reps are in the US. I also even tried AVG which was far superior to Norton and that got many of the viruses and Trojan Norton had not. I loved their "tune up" ability that made my computer run SO FAST too! They were also rated ahead of Norton, but did not have FREE tech support. VIPRE answered all my questions PRIOR to ever subscribing and I got 2 yrs for 3 computers for $69 a special they had through the end of Jan.
Norton has really dropped the ball, they used to be a good company but no more. I actually feel sorry for people who still have it.
