Over the last day or so, I’ve haven’t been able to get past the “Review Scan” after a smart scan. When I try to review the results, I get a screen trying to upsell me to the Privacy Assistant. The only option is to click on “Continue to Removal”. That takes me to another screen that has a choice between “Continue to Removal” and “Not Interested”. When I click “Not interested”, I get yet another screen asking me if I’m sure I want to exit. The only choices at that point are to “Remove all trackers now for free” (which takes me to the checkout screen) or to close Norton altogether. If I close it, the “Review Smart Scan” button is still there, and the process just repeats itself.
This just started a day or so ago. I’m usually able to review my results, close the screens that come up that try to upsell me and click “Done”. That’s no longer the case. I’ve used the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool, and that makes no difference. I can’t run another smart scan later because I’m not able to get past reviewing the current one. How do I get out of this highly annoying loop?
