Enhanced Protection Mode (IE10 64-bit) vs. Norton Vulnerability Protection (IE10 32-bit)

Hello,

I'm a Norton 360 user, and recently installed Windows 8 (64-bit) on my laptop.

I opted to activate Enhanced Protection Mode in Internet Explorer 10 (IE10), and Norton Vulnerability Protection and Norton Identity Safe were automatically disabled (they are incompatible add-ons when run in 64-bit mode by enabling Enhanced Protected Mode).

Given the above, I have two questions:

1. Which setting offers better protection/security: running IE10 64-bit mode (i.e. Norton Vulnerability Protection automatically disabled); or running IE10 32-bit mode (i.e. Norton Vulnerability Protection enabled).

2. If I choose to deactivate Enhanced Protection Mode in IE10, how do I reactivate Norton Vulnerability Protection?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

G.
