Over the past couple of months i have been forced to use the IE browser as my firewall or anitvirus software (Norton 360) has been blocking network access to all the other main browsers such as Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. My firewall is turned on but i cannot see any reason for it to stop the network connection so i assumed it must be something to do with Norton 360. So i tried to get onto the Norton installed on my computer and it came up with the error. So i tried the power eraser which got rid of some viruses but still did not allow me to gain access to my Norton. I then tried the Norton Removal Tool but i could not use it as i have something called “Symantec WinfaxPro” on my laptop. I followed the instructions and tried to find but it was nowhere where the instructions said it would be. I then tried multiple forums on the internet but none gave me a solution, today my IE does not connect anymore and i have no idea what to do next. I’m only 15 by the way so my computer knowledge is very limited. Help is very much appreicated.
