error 8506, 421 for 2013 Norton internet security

Hi,

I'm recieving error message 8506, 421 for Norton Internet Security 2013. I followed the forums suggestion uninstall 2013 and then install 2012. The problem is I never owned 2012 so I only have a 15 day trial. What are my options?
