I have got this error today again. The problem occurs when the computer waking from sleep.

Yesterday was this problem also, so I searched this forum. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the product, as suggested.

Have you got any other security programs installed? Have you had another security program before NIS and how was it removed? Most security programs have an uninstall utility that cleans up leftover s that uninstalling from Windows Control Panel leaves behind.
Have you tried the Norton Removal Tool?
If you decide to give this a go please export your ID Safe data to somewhere you can find it (like a USB flash drive) before you begin. You can download a fresh copy of NIS from www.norton.com/nis20
Remember to run Live Update, restarting where required, until no more updates are available.
