Error Code: 2061

Issue abstract: I am receiving Error Code: 2061 when trying to sign in

Detailed description: after trying to renew the subscription, and trying to sign in, I am receiving Error Code: 2061 with now way to solve … I searched the net where I found that I have to make sure that there is no other anti virus and no other software error and even after solving it, no good news

Product & version number: 24.10.9535 (build 24.10.9535.880)

I did the repair but with no good result … still same problem and same error code.

Thanks for the post-back. Use the version 24.xx removal tool below and remove your Norton product.

Once removed, manually remove any folders on drive C:\ that are labeled Avast, Norton, Norton installer and reboot. These are sometimes not removed by the uninstaller.

Next, log into your Norton account, download a fresh installer from there and re-install your product again. You hopefully should NOT get any errors. If you do get a screenshot of it so that we may review it for you. Here is how to get and post screenshots:

If you do not have errors. Live updates should run automatically at least once. If, it does not, manually run it and install whatever updates are available. Reboot when done. After this reboot recheck live updates a second time. If no updates are available you are good to go.
