I have 3 PC's on a home network, 2 of which connect wirelessly and have no problems updating NIS2011. The WinXP SP3 PC which is connected to the cable modem (RoadRunner), gives the same 2 error codes when running LiveUpdate -8921 and 253. I also cannot update Evidence Nuker, Adobe Reader, or Revo Uninstaller (says I am not connected to the Internet, even though I have an active web page up). Ran the removal tool, no help at all. Remote assistance was not able to connect into my PC to help out. Spent most of yesterday on phone with tech support, could not solve problem. I saw other posts with same issue.
