I found numerous instances of this error message in the Norton Antivirus log (Cef_log.txt) at User>AppData>Roaming>Norton>Log
Also many of this: ERROR:network_service_instance_impl.cc(331)] Network service crashed, restarting service.
On all my computers (desktops and a laptop). All running W10 Pro. Odd thing is that I have no trouble accessing anything. When I’m on the Internet, all pages load. No lag.
Any thoughts?
Are all on Chrome when this happens? Have you used a second browser to test? I’m seeing similar entries on my daily use machine with Windows 10 Pro, version 22.24.8.36 Norton 360. The log is so huge in size it freezes when trying to read all its contents.
IMA: I exclusively use Opera GX which is Chromium based, the statement " Passthrough is not supported, GL is swiftshader " is referencing Chrome using an outdated GL driver.

FWIW!! I deleted the log and am shutting down graphics acceleration setting in Opera GX to see if the log recreates itself. The date the log was opened was, as by chance it would be, the date I reverted this machine back to version 22.24.8.36 which was, December 1, 2024. Lets see what gets logged, IF the log reappears my side.

I use Firefox pretty much exclusively. After reading your response I checked because I thought Firefox was based on Chromium but Mozilla claims it’s not.
Thanks for experimenting with Opera. I’ve never used that browser but I like what I see on your screenshot. Maybe I’ll give it a spin one day.
