I have used NIS 2009 without incident for a month or so on a windows xp machine. I noticed that after a reboot today, it didn’t load automatically. When I attempted to load manually, I got a message “the parameter is incorrect.” I attempted to uninstall and got the same message. I attempted to reinstall and got the same message. I attempted to run the norton removal tool and got the same message again. I’ve reviewed a couple of other threads that mentioned a similar problem, but none of the suggested solutions works for me. Any ideas?
