I'm trying to delete everything from my account and when I select the folder and then select move to trash I get this "an error occured while moving folder to trash". Is there a fix for this or could an administrator help clean my account?

I was finally able to delete them. I went back about an hour later and it seems to be repopulating the same folders. Where can I go to change what is used? Because apparently it will redownload from the same folder on my PC but I can't see how to change this.

Hi,
If you have the Zone client downloaded and running on your computer you should be able to open it, delete the files and have that change reflected when you open your browser and go to the Zone.
I'm assuming that you are the owner of the files. If not, only the owner can delete them.
Keep us posted
I opened up Norton Zone from the taskbar on the lower right of the screen. I deleted several folders and they are already back. How do I tell the program to only put certain stuff in it?
Now I have two of everything. It took me quite a while to delete everything the first time...now it will take at least a couple of hours to get rid of my stuff. Anything over a couple hundred kb and I have to go into each individual file and delete that way. I'm sorry but this program is ridiculous. Maybe I'll just use Skydrive.
I give up with this program. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and without telling it to upload anything it is already busy putting the same stuff I deleted back in it.
Hello mb40sr
It sounds like the sync keeps kicking in as soon as the program is restarted. I'd like to have an agent reach out to you but need some info from you first. Can you please send me a private message with the following?
- The email address associated to your Norton Zone account
- System details such as operating system info
- Your contact number along with timezone and preferred time. They may reply by email but gathering this in case.
- A link to this thread for reference
Once I get it I'll pass it over to the support team to reach out to you.
Hello mb40sr
Thanks for getting the details to me so quickly. I've sent them over to our Norton Zone support team. They'll either be reaching out to you directly or will provide me with further details shortly.
Please let me know if there is anything further needed in the meantime.
Thanks. They just called and helped clear up the problem. I didn't realize Norton created a folder on each PC in my user folder and was pulling stuff from there. I think I'm good to go. Thanks for your help.
