What is the error message you are seeing? “Ethernet cable unplugged”

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

This has been happening for a while. After coming out of idle (not sleep or hibernation) the task bar where the network connection icon sits cycles rapidly with the network connection icon appearing and disappearing. When I check Network and Settings in the Control Panel, I see that I am now on WiFI and the ethernet adapter connection says “Cable is unplugged.” Cable is NOT unplugged and tests as “good” with cable tester. Same Lenovo X1 model not running Norton but connected on same ethernet hub does not have this problem. Anyone else see this problem?

Are you getting any notifications from Norton that its changing your network, anything in your Norton history that suggests Norton detected something?

What version is your Windows 11 install, its version and build?

Have you checked Windows Event Viewer to see what is logged there?
