I am trying to ascertain how to fix ccSvcHst.exe problems with NS 2009 and is Norton sorting it for 2010 version.
I have unisnstalled NIS2009 and CPU Usage is normal
With NIS 2009 installed and Definition updates complete CPU usage shoots to 100% with ccSvcHst.exe causing the problem
computer then is inoperative
If I Turn on Silent Mode, then reboot everthing works fine (Its is like the security program is not installed so fast) until the expiry of the 6 hr limit.
Turning on Silent mode without rebooting still slows down the computer .
Any ideas would be welcomed please.
I prefer NIS to other security software, but it is getting to the stage when I can not tollerate the slowness anymore.
