Existing 360 Premier subscription onto new computer

I still have 5 months remaining on my existing Norton 360 subscription, but my computer died.  So I now have a new one.  How do I convert my existing subscription onto the new computer?  The free trial subscription on my new computer will terminate in four days.  What shall I do?

Hi Joekathryn,

You can still use the remaining subscription of your existing Norton 360.  You just need to activate the Norton 360 on your current computer with the product key.

If you dont have the product key, you can log onto www.mynortonaccount.com using the email address and password used to register the Norton product, and get the product key.

Cheers

Thanks DistEd2,

Another question:  Is the Product Key the same thing as Product Serial Number?  The product was not purchased at a store, but online through Norton, so no cd here.

No, the Product Key is not the serial number.

Have you set up your Norton Account? I had forgotten about being able to access your Product Key that way, so the process that IN069265 recommended should work for you  without having to do the remove-and-reinstall (assuming that your trial version is for the same product as your subscription) if you can do that.

All is well--Alex at Live Chat checked things out, and my old subscription is now on my new computer.  Thanks.

Wonderful--that's the kind of result we like to hear!

Happy (and safe!) computing, protected by "the speed and power of Norton" for the remainder of your subscription! :smileyvery-happy:
