Extensive Comparison -- Panda and Norton

I am running an extensive comparative between Panda IS and Norton AV on their various features. Note that I did not install Panda's Firewall and various other features; just the AntiVirus core. And TruPrevent was enabled; competible processer power on my VPC and 1 gb memory.

If you have any specfic files, contact me via PM.

If you have any comments and suggestions, post them here.

For the first test, I executed the Vundo infected file I mentioned in another thread. Panda detected the threat when I executed it, like Norton. However, it gave me numerous pop-ups as the file executed futher and finally Windows gave me an error message saying that my computer would shutdown in 30 seconds. Panda was not able to stop the threat. So, thats 1 point for Norton.

I dislike how Panda has a splash screen and gives a dialouge box when closing, that says "Panda IS is closing..."

But that's just the cosmetics.

In Panda's quarientine, there is a feature to send a file to them. I hit send, and it assured me that their staff would keep me updated.

Norton has a send button, however it cannot relay feedback. Kudos to Panda.
