External Hard Drive - Chkdsk error

Dear Forum,

 

After running the Performance Tools section of Norton N360 - Version 22.5.5.15.

It informs me that my external hard disk drive (Seagate / Western Digital 3.0 GB) that I should run a chkdsk.

i have never had this issue. How can I also exclude the external hard disk drive from being scanned and also the windows / internal temporary files from being deleted on the next scan.

 

I am only new to this module of N360 - so any asisstance would be of assistance
