External hard drive

I have Norton 360 Plantinum on my desk top computer my laptop and my mobile as I paid for 5 subscriptions
Program version is 224.10.9535

My enquire is mostly on that I want to saved files on my external hard drive only and not on the Norton Cloud or any other Cloud servers.
Can some one help me and show me how to do this so all my files are saved only on my external hard drive which is desk top computer external HD is MY BOOK by WD
I want to do the same on my laptop computer external HD is Elements by WD

Both computers are HP Pavillions running Windows 10 Home Edition

If you’ve already run Norton Cloud Backup…then disable Cloud Backup.

Security → Cloud Backup → Manage → Settings
turn off Automatically sync?

If you cannot turn off Automatically sync …
then opt Reset to Default and then do not click Back Up This PC which invokes preset cloud backup.
