My Norton subscription has been renewed at a cost of roughly £100.
Now I am being told I need driver Updates at a further cost of nearly £50.
If things go true to form I will be shortly asked to pay again for extra virus cover. Either of these, I am told, could make my laptop crash and most likely unusable.
Apart from the extra security being a rip-off after paying £100, which I was not told about when buying originally, I doubt if a brand-new Dell laptop is in danger of becoming useless through unusable drivers after about 40 hours of use.
I would stop using Norton altogether if it were not for another family member being included in the plan. Is Norton simply being too greedy?
